How Aviclear works

How Excel V+ works
Excel V+, the laser system we use in our practice, treats vascular disorders with a unique, powerful, green laser that is absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels in the skin. The laser heats the abnormal vessels so that the vessel walls contract and coagulate. After some time, the vessels are no longer visible. Several treatments may be required to achieve the desired result.

How Dermablate MCL31 laser works
The Dermablate MCL31 handpiece delivers focused energy to the treatment area, treating both the upper and deeper layers of the skin while stimulating the body’s natural collagen production. The superficial layer of skin will peel away 3 to 4 days after the procedure, resulting in a renewed and repaired skin. Fine lines and wrinkles will also be softened over the next 1 to 3 months as collagen is produced in the skin.

Spiders
Spiders or “broken capillaries” are common on the legs, cheeks and nose. They are red, blue or purple. Normally these blood vessels are invisible, but with some people they expand and become visible through the skin. There are several causes: exposure to the sun, pregnancy, hormonal treatment and especially heredity. During the menopause, the skin becomes thinner and loses some of its collagen, making the small veins more visible.
For facial spider veins (couperose, rosacea), laser is the best treatment. For spider veins on the legs, sclerotherapy was previously used. Now, this is treated exclusively with laser.
